You may use this site to learn about water treatment, to understand our services, and to contact us. You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
- Submit false information through our forms, or submit another person's information without their permission
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site for commercial purposes
3. About the information on this site
We publish a substantial amount of educational material about water treatment — how systems work, what causes common water problems, and what treatment approaches exist. We write it carefully and we believe it is accurate.
It is general information. It is not a diagnosis of the water at any specific property, and no recommendation for your home should be inferred from it.
Water conditions vary enormously between properties — particularly on private wells. An article describing what typically causes orange staining cannot tell you what is causing yours, and nothing on this site should be used as a substitute for having your water evaluated.
Where our content describes treatment approaches, those descriptions are category-level. The suitability of any particular system for any particular property depends on measured water conditions, household demand, plumbing configuration and other factors that can only be established on site.
4. No professional advice relationship
Reading this site does not create a professional, advisory or contractual relationship between you and Gridline. That begins when we agree to provide services to you.
Our content addresses aesthetic and nuisance water concerns — staining, taste, odor, scale and their effects on plumbing. It is not health advice. If your concern is the safety of your drinking water, that belongs with a certified laboratory and guidance from your county health department or the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
5. Quotes, estimates and services
Nothing on this site is an offer or a binding quote. Any pricing, scope or timeline we discuss becomes binding only in a written proposal or agreement we provide to you directly.
Installation work is performed by our licensed technicians. The terms of any services we provide are set out in the agreement covering that work, not on this website.
6. Intellectual property
The content on this site — text, photographs, graphics, layout, code and the Gridline name and logo — belongs to Gridline Water Systems or is used with permission. You may read it, share links to it, and print pages for your own personal use.
You may not reproduce, republish or adapt our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. If you'd like to reference or quote something, get in touch — we're generally happy to say yes.
