Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion. We built it with that in mind rather than adding it afterwards.
Conformance target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We describe that as a goal we work toward rather than a certification we hold — we haven't had the site formally audited by a third party, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML. Proper headings, landmarks, lists and tables, so assistive technology can navigate the structure.
- One clear heading hierarchy per page, with no skipped levels.
- Full keyboard navigation. Every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse, including the mobile menu, FAQ accordions and filters.
- Visible focus states on every focusable element.
- A skip link to bypass navigation and go straight to the main content.
- A focus trap in the mobile menu, with Escape to close and focus returned to the button that opened it.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body text, headings and interactive elements.
- Colour is never the only signal. Anything indicated by colour is also indicated by text, shape or position.
- Reduced-motion support. If your system requests reduced motion, animations and scroll effects are switched off.
- Text in HTML, not images. Contact details, service information and all written content are real text that can be read, resized and translated.
- Responsive layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to small screens, and tolerates text resizing.
- Accessible tables with proper header cells and scope attributes.
Known limitations
We'd rather be upfront about these than leave you to find them.
- Our consultation form is provided by a third-party platform. It's embedded from an external service, and its internal accessibility is largely outside our control. If you have any difficulty using it, please call us on (215) 798-0135 or email service@gridlinewatersystems.com — we'll take your details that way and you'll get exactly the same service.
- Third-party links. Sites we link to, including Google, are governed by their own accessibility practices.
- Photography. Alt text describes what each image shows, but detailed technical images may not convey every detail to someone who can't see them. If a photograph is relevant to something you're trying to understand, call us and we'll describe it.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If you run into a barrier on this site, we want to know. Not as a formality — we'll actually fix it.
Phone: (215) 798-0135
Email: service@gridlinewatersystems.com
It helps if you can tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what technology you were using — but tell us however is easiest. We aim to respond within a few business days, and if a fix will take longer than that we'll offer you another way to get what you needed in the meantime.
Getting information another way
Everything on this site is available by phone. If any page is difficult for you to use, call us and we'll walk you through the information, answer your questions, and book a consultation directly.
